When using the plate shear, first adjust the gap between the upper and lower blades of the plate shear according to the thickness of the plate to be cut. Power on the upper and lower air shear for three or five times without putting materials in. If no problem is found, the next operation can be carried out. When cutting the plate, the plate shear must ensure that the cutting surface of the steel plate presents a straight line, so that the blade of the plate shear can better serve the cutting of the plate. The structure of the plate shearing machine is that the upper and lower knives are fixed on the tool holder and worktable respectively. During shearing, the tool holder moves downward and forms a shear force with the lower knife to achieve the purpose of materials in the front section.

There is a supporting ball on the workbench of the plate shearing machine. If it is a ball, it means it is round and can roll, so that the material will not scratch the surface of the material at a certain time. During shearing, the pressing cylinder will take the lead to operate, press down and fix the material on the workbench, so that the material can be cut better if it cannot be moved. The rear baffle plays the role of positioning the material. The length of the material to be cut by the blade of the plate shear is adjusted by moving the rear baffle back and forth.

There are five or six kinds of materials commonly used for the blade of the plate shearing machine, which are suitable for shearing, including all metal materials on the market. The thickness of the shearing material is determined by the factory rated value of the plate shearing machine. When using it, it must not be used beyond the scope, which will cause damage to the blade of the plate shearing machine and the machine tool.
